Seloc Or Mercury

big price difference.. i was told by a dealer in idao ( who did not have great things to say about working with mercury) that the merc manual was the most detailed.. anyone have a prefrence ? 2 nor' easters in 1 week so far, could not buy a nor'easter last winter in the n.east errrrrr do not like this trend!!!

Ayuh,... Buy the Factory Manual....
The Seloc is Ok for a knee pad,... Not much else....

Have used Seloc (worst by far), Clymers (better than Seloc) and the factory manunals (best).

Depends on what and how detailed of work you expect to be doing. IF just basic maintenance then the Seloc/Clymers would be OK. If attempting more elaborate tear downs and rebuilds etc then the factory manual is the only way to go.

I have all three but use only the Mercury manual.
