A friend is helping me overhaul my 140 HP Suzuki DT140, and we're having a problem separating the
Cylinder block from the crankcase cover, there is obviously some type of sealer between the two, we have made sure that we have ALL of the bolts out and we used the two pry notches they have in the lower part of the block, but we are not wanting to use brute force to see what happens, however we tried everything we can think of the help separate the two with marring the block, does anyone have any suggestions ??

Thanks!

Thanks BenC, we did take the intake off, however there were some little screen like things in there that we didn't realize came out. The bolts were under there. Came right apart after we took those out :D
Thanks again!
Paul
