I am having problems finding parts by serial number for my unknown year engine. Every site I try comes up with nothing for any of the numbers I enter. There is a tag riveted to the rear above the starter with 3682505 on it. On the side above the starter is 2770087 and what appears to be 1.11.72. Could the latter possibly be the date stamp? On the valve cover is the 140 tag with 3586730 on it. Can anyone please help with identifying this engine and reccomend a good place to order parts that I can view catalog images and pick the parts I need? I need various gaskets and other small pieces and don't want to order the wrong ones. Thanks in advance for any help.
