On my '78 55 johnson it has the serial number on the mount (transom mount) it also has them on a freeze plug looking thing on the head. Does anyone know if they do this on a 2001 15 hp johnson?<br /><br />Smitty
Should be about the same place as your '78. The little metal tag should be on the port side of the transom bracket and the Welsh plug on top of the engine.<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty
