Dose anyone know where i might find the serial number of a 1988 johnson 115 hp. the one on the upper part of the right head is not ledgalbe.

Hi Lip...look for a metal tag on the transom bracket. It will give you the model and serial number.

I can not find any type of tag. is there aby where else by chance. Thanx. ripper

How 'bout the title for the motor. Do you have that? Don't know of any place else it is stamped.
