ok as i have mentiond in my other posts i had to rewire most of this motor cause it was all rotten, but i bought a manual and half of the wires in my motor are not there, again its a1968 v100 cd, i will run trough and maybe u can help me<br />1) book shows grey ack wire going to posative side of coil is this correct? and the black wire at back of gauge going to ground?<br />2) have a white wire with red stripe coming from a circulr object with a rubber diaphram on the starboard side of motor, is that my voltage regulator? the white wire with red srtipe goes to nowhere, but looking the wiring diagram if appears it should goto the rectifier but the wiring harness doesnt show any signs hat the wire ever came from there<br />3) have red wire from power pack that goes nowhere<br />4) if i jump the power back directly to battery and crank i hve spark<br />5) i have a sensor, book says its the saftey switch under the flywheel it has onewhite wire running to it is that my safety switch<br />6) where is my voltage suppresoor and voltage regulator located?<br />7)is it best that i just cut every the wires and run new ones according to the manual?, <br />8) when key is on choke soliniod gets to hot to touch with out the choke switch being applied<br /><br />if i can getthe propper power lead to the powerpack she runs, was thinking of just running a power lead from the (on) at ignition switch<br /><br /><br />in summery the wiring is fubar i just want my tack to work, and the motor to run with out any saftey concerns( like not being able to shut it off) and with out the choke getting so hot that it can starting a fire<br />if any of youhave yahoo messanger add me as gof31@yahoo.ca i can then take my laptop outside and answer your questions asap
