The book says this is how to set the float. Seloc Manual..... "With the carb in the position Shown, the distance from the lower edge of the float and the top of the retainer, should be 1 inch" First off this don't have a picture it is missing. I assume the "lower edge of the float" is the side you can now see with the carb upside down. What is the "retainer" that I need to messure against. Is that the body of the carb? If so there is a ring on the inner side that one hiegth, gasket ring another distance, and outer body that would be another. Thank in advance for any help. I thought maybe the merc full repair kit would have instructions.
