I have rebuilt our Suzuki DT40 and am now trying to set the static timing. I'm using Clymer's Suzuki outboard shop manual, but there are parts of the manual that are pretty ambiguous. Its telling me to align the match mark on the stator assembly with the cylinder projection. Found the cylinder projection but I'm not seeing a mark on the stator assembly. What should I be looking for?
