So I picked up a nice set of guages when I purchased my new to me Mako Angler. It came with a set of guages that I actually plan to use on my smaller boat with my 1991 60HP Johnson.
I havent ever had an RPM guage since I've had the boat as it never came with one. Where is the connection on the motor for hooking up a wire from an RPM gauge. Is it somewhere on the harness? Color? Is it a plug?
Also what kind of wire do you recommend running from the console to this connection? Thanks everyone.
I've read that there are also wires coming into the key switch from the harness. I looked up under there and saw a few wires, and also saw a little plug hanging from it. Any ideas?
