Hi All!!!!!I fired up the Yammie I/O yesterday and everything looked OK.Motor Oil,Running Temp.,Outdrive Oil,Fresh Gas,Water Impeller,Tilt/Trim Fluid,Oil Pressure.Did I miss anything????So today I thought I should check the wheel bearings and can't get the metal cap off.I tried channel locks but no go.Also tried a small block of wood and light to medium taps(don't want them misshapen)and still no go.Need more advice. Thanks in advance for your help!!!!!!!!

spray them with WD-40 and let it soak for a few minutes then give then a good wack.

I couldn't get mine off then I just took a chisel and a hammer and wacked them off, granted I had a pair of replacements and bearing buddies

Use a wood chisel, lightly tap it between the lip of the bearing cover and the spindle and pry it up just a little. Work your way around the lip and it will eventually work loose. Patience is the key!
Tom
