I used adhesive on the transom side. For the cable side I used a zip tie wrapped around twice. It is much easier than trying to get that clamp bent down right.

Ayuh,.... Ditto,.... except I used a Mercury outboard fuel line zip-tie,...(1 of the Many tricks DonS taught me, God bless 'im)

The zip-ties for the outboard's fuel lines have an extra little *** on 'em, that creates a full circle seal,...
No double wrap necessary,...

Thanks Guys for the replies.
I also thought using Zip Tie for the cable side cause I don't have the special tool for bending the Clamp.

Been using doubled over cable tie to secure all manner of things for the last 30 years... Wish I had a cent for every one I've put on something...
