I have replaced the shift and throttle cables on my 92 Mercruiser 4.3L. I did not remember how the cables were connected to the linkage assemble on the top of the motor. Is there a drawing or diagram of the proper set up?
If you used the old style cable for shift there is a measurement and setup procedure you NEED to follow exactly to make things work right. If you used a new style cable they came preset length.
