I just installed a new lower shift cable, got it adjusted properly and it's shifting fine now. my question is: with the new cable installed, my cutout switch really doesn't even move when shifting, is that normal, or should it have noticable movement when shifting?

Re: Shift cutout switch

Won't see it operate untill there is a load on the prop. Drop it in the water and you will see the movement. Probably will need to do that anyway to get it adjusted properly.

Ok so there should defintely be movement on it, when there is a load on it?
