Hello All,

I have a 1982 larson with a mercruiser 140. I am trying to find a Shift Interupt Switch part # 39670A28 as per the stemtostern website, they list it as NLA. Any help in locating a parts store that has this or someone that has one laying around would be greatly appreciated.

ok, so out of curiousity, what would a person do if the switch is NLA and there is no replacement of it. seems like ya have to have a shift inurupt switch on a merc. is there a aftermarket switch ya use? or does a $20 switch leave yer boat junk.

I've Never seen 1 Go Bad,.........
Unless somebody was Trying to fix a Bad Lower Shift Cable by Bending the Switch Arm,... Instead of Changing the Cable,.......
Which is what gets Done eventually,....Anyway.........

I'm curious as to Why vstol Needs 1,..???....

You could always Update it to the Push-Button Switch................

Re: Shift Interrupt Switch

The switch is for a friend of mine, the arm on his is bent and the button the arm presses when going into gear is intermentently(?) working. I will give the salvage yard you recommended a try don't laugh.

Thanks for the help
