Has anybody installed an aftermarket ignition on a mercruiser 350 1989 era boat. Where do you conect the switch?

you don't need to change anything with the switch.

Is this a marine ignition? What are you trying to accomplish? The TB systems are quite reliable and you are not going to get anything that works any better.
