is this normal??? i just got off the lake and saw TONS of water coming out of the drive with a little bit of drive oil with it... i see holes from the shift linkage rubbed right through.... is that normal??? if it is thats horrible design....

is there a step by step guide to replace the upper bellow??? ive been searching for a while and cant find anything.. thanks!!

Yes, it's normal. Those bellows are thin to begin with, In salt water, I changed my bellows every other year. Just to prevent any kind of leak problems.
Changing the bellows is a simple job. Remove the upper gear box, replace the seals and bellows and your's set to go.

cool thank you... ive looked in there, but was hoping there was a easier method then i found the picture you posted and the part numbers of the seals and orings to get... thanks again...
