Hi
I replaced my shift cable on my alpha one gen 2, and it shifts fine into both gears, but it stays in gear a little while after I put it back in neutral.
Is that something to adjust as well?
Regards

Hi, and thanks
I checked the cut-out switch, and it does work ok if I help moving the Y-plate a little bit, it looks like it is not enough movement in the Y-plate that should make it work properly.
any ideas?

Well, the only time that the switch actuates is to allow the gears to disengage, so something is not adjusted properly......;)
You made sure that there was 153mm from the center of the barrel nut to the 'eye', while pushing in on the shift cable & turning the prop counter clock wise & ensuring it locks into gear?.........
Do you have a roller or plunger type switch, you will need to determine how much movement is required to actuate (close) the switch......
You need manual # 14, I'll see if I can find the link......:)
