Shift slop, are these parts interchangeable?

Merc 170, alpha 1 gen 1. Having a hard time getting into gear, both forward and reverse. I have some slop in the shifter cable, which is apparently now just bad enough that I can't adjust my way out of. Noticed some low hanging fruit where the shift interrupt plate mounts. I have a stud there that is quite a bit smaller than the opening on the plate. Looks like it's missing the spacer and sleeve that go over the stud. The parts diagram shows a "new style" bracket that just uses a bolt with a shoulder (the spacer/sleeve are listed as NLA). Anyone know if these parts are interchangeable? The stud is 10-13743, the spacer/sleeve are 23-37981/23-45600. This vs. This

To answer my own question, it appears that they are. Ended up with the bolt, which appears to work. Shifting fine on land, we'll give it a water test this weekend.

Quick shout out for good service:
Called around locally, nobody had either part. Local marina (Rapa Marine in Tappahannock, VA) said "I may have something used, come on by".
He dug around, pulled out a whole shift plate and hardware. Asked what I owed. "Nothing, hope it works". I know where my business is going in the future.
