If you ask Google for freight companies, most of them will give you a quote on shipping.

The prices differ all over the map.

Re: Shipping a motor

I used ABF they were great. It cost me $100.00 to have an 18hp shipped from Iowa to Philadelphia. Easy and friendly people to deal with. Plus if you drop the motor off at an ABF dock and its picked up by the buyer at an ABF dock you can save some money, for me I saved around $40.00. They have a website you can use to calculate shipping charges as well as find a location close to you.

I recently purchased a rebuilt powerhead for my OB. Its weight was listed at 140#. Airborne charged $75 to ship from Florida to NJ.
