Shock

Ok guys…I have a 1983 Johnson 50hp 2 Stroke. My problem is I’m getting shocked bad when I touch metal on my steering wheel, metal on a boat ramp while sitting…really weird!…But the shock today was enough for me to stop running the boat until I find out what is causing it. I’m thinking bad ground somewhere or NO ground…Everything works fine besides that. Just looking for extra input…thanks!

I used to get a tingle, from the remote control if I hit one of the trim buttons while touching the metal helm wheel, turned out to be a bare spot in one of the trim wires, fixed it with liquid electrical tape some years ago...

Yes my trim used to hit me as well but hasn’t the past few time I’ve taken it out
