Probably you're getting a connection between the kill switch post on the keyswitch and the key itself. It could just be moisture in it (try blasting it with WD-40), but if it's not I would be looking for a new keyswitch.<br />The kill wire (black/yellow) is connected to the rectified ignition stator windings inside the CDI box. That kind of voltage at DC will straigten your hair, even if it's going through some water to hit you. You're grounding yourself back to the engine by touching the throttle.
