I have an 86 150 blackmax. I've been having an ongoing problem with this motor since I brought it back from the grave 2 years ago. It only acts up near the end of the day. The motor starts to bog down intermitenly. Like something is getting hot. When I got the boat home I put it on the muffs and tried the spark plug test where you take one plug wire off at a time to see if the idle is affected. I started with #1 and #2 and the idle was really not that affected. i did get shocked when i removed the wire from #1 only. Removing #3-#6 really had an affect on the idle. I also got shocked by #5. #5's shock was a hair rasing shock compared to #1. I'm going to change out the plug wires, but could the weaker spark be part of the performance issue? Coils? Switch Boxes?

Thanks
