Re: Shoplifting

If it weren't for shoplifting ,the wife and I would have never recovered her stolen Subaru.Seems the bottom feeder that stole it dumped it at an area apartment complex after his joy ride.He then removed the plates and stuck them on a stolen Dodge Neon that he used to go to Best Buy in where he was caught shoplifting.A real model citizen. We bought a $50 restaraunt gift certificate for the security guard that led to the recovery of the wifes car,and the scumbag ended up getting probation, and is probably out ruining someone elses day.

Huge problem here: the major city closest to us is a nightmare these days.

A lot of shops now have a policy of only allowing one kid into the premises at a time to try to stop the theiving that was rife here. It was common for gangs of kids to descend on a shop and afterwards it would look like a plague of locusts had been through it!

Re: Shoplifting

Huge problem and there is info on the net on how to defeat anti theft devices. There are actually professional shoplifters. All sorts of tricks such as tinfoil lined shopping bags, other people who just distract the staff, tools available on the net to remove pinned on devices. Some stores are just more targeted then others.

There is plenty to dislike 'bout the islamists and their fanaticism, but ya gotta give it to em they sure know how to treat a scumbag shoplifter.
