Shore Hook Up

[POPS PLAYPEN]

Can't figure this out. When i hook up to shore power, the red light comes on stating that the polarity is reversed and nothing works.So i switched the wires on the plug,(the common and hot),red light goes out but the green light does not come on and you guessed it, nothing works. anyone have any suggestions. thanks

Check polarity of the shore power outlet. Been known to be wrong.
