I have a shoreland'r roller trailer and I am going to paint it this week. Before I dig in and start sand blasting I need to strip parts and lights. How do the rear wobble rollers come off. There is a clip or something on the outside that needs to come off. Anybody know how those work before I get into it?

If its the same as my Load Rite trailer, those are called "hog clips" kind of look like a hogs nose? Not sure if there is a tool for taking them out, I just grabbed one end of it where it goes into the hole on the arm with a big pair of channel locks and pulled that end out the hole....a bunch of mine were near rusted through so I had to buy quite a few new ones to replace Putting them back on I just squeezed them tight with the same pair of big channel locks into the holes.

Ok I think I got it. So you pull that hog clip out and then pull the washer off and the wheel should come right off?

yup, that's it. The clips are pretty sturdy so it will take some effort to get them bent out of the hole but once its out the wheel comes right off.

I took one out on my lunch break. Yep, pretty easy once I figured how to bend with the plyers. Thanks for the help.
