Welcome to iboats.

My guess is around 1100-1200 lbs empty.

Shorelaner has a good web site where you can look up specs.

The VIN is on a tag either on the tongue or at the back of the frame rail.

My 04 Shorelandr has the vin on a sticker on the inside of the left frame rail near the front. I know mine is a lot newer model than the one asked about but it is another place to look.

I think the 4500 lb figure is the gvwr of the trailer with boat on it. It does not weigh 4500 lbs. I'd guess in the 1100-1300 lb range.

i beleave your right because i didnt read the plate right . it shows at 14 inch 6 ply tires at 4500 lbs at gvwr and at dual tandum and single axle also 13inc and 15inch not sure the weight for those tires but the plate give the hole weiht class for those tires so if any one needs to no any class for tires i have in fo for a shorelandr trailer
