I have not had time to do a decarb the right way since I picked up a nice 1995 150 Ocean pro for my Mako.I have been meaning to but always find myself short on time so the last few times out I pulled the plugs and gave a healthy squirt of seafoam deep creep just before leaving the boat. When I get back a day or two later ,I idle at about 2000rpms for a minute or two to get the seafoam out.Am I doing any good here or should I just wait until I have the time to do it the right way.I dont think I am doing any harm but am I doing any good at all.Charlie

If it is soaking sure it is doing some good. Maybe not as much as you want but some good never the less.

You can always run some Sea Foam, as described in the instructions, in your fuel.

Decarb, while you run! :D It's not a "shock treatmenmt" for a severely loaded up engine, which I doubt yours is, but it works wonders.
