shortest way get to gulf stream

i live in little river sc,and it take me about 50 miles to gulf stream,and like to have some help,what town in nc drive under one hour and have boat landing can get to gulf stream or 100 foot deep water under 30 miles from landing,any website i can find more information?any expert?thanks.

The closet point to the Gulf stream is Hatteras and at that point your looking at 15 miles or so.

It's 7 hours to Hatteras from LR. 9 hours if you take the shorstest route (ferry).
Morehead City is only 3 hours from you but then you're looking at possibliy 25-30 miles depending on it's location at the time.
