Don't know exact model number but it is a new engine 06. Big V-8 mpi. Has the block drain in the front down at the bottom where where all the water drains from. I guess it is called the manual signle point drain system.

I got the engine nice and warmed up and drained it, no problem there. Put all the stuff in the fuel and the oil in the filter then went to run it on the hose. It wasn't really taking the anit-freeze for whatever reason and the overheat alarm came on for a split second before I turned it off. It ran for the couple of minutes that it says to in order to get the oil/fuel mix through so i'm sure i'm fine with that.

What I'm worried about is that it didn't seem to take any anti-freeze. I pulled that blue plug out again and some ani-freeze did come out so it did take some. Am I being too nervous?

I drained everything and then ran it so even if it wasn't taking all that much antifreeze the water should be out of it right?

Ayuh,... In Theory anyway....

Those single point draining systems are dubious at Best....

If by chance 1 of the motor's drain ports is Pugged by some Crap,...
You'd Never know it, til it's Too Late....

Btw,...
You'd better plan on Replacing the Impeller in the spring,..
Your's is No doubt Smoked by now...

Haha, yeah i'm sure the impeller is gone. I just went and took the thermostat off and poured in antifreeze till it came out the top. Hopefully its not too late...

as long as you drained all the water out of it. you'll be ok. if not. adding the antifreeze on top of the water probably won't get it... the key is to be fully drained.... after that. it don't matter as far as anti freeze goes. air don't freeze. about the only reason i can see to add anti freeze is for corrosion protection...
