Spent the weekend looking at a 97 330 Coastal. Two owner fresh water boat - Merc 7.4s, Raytheon electronics package. Everything is clean, no visible damage, bilge appears clean, but I am new to this type of boat and am a bit unsure of what I should be asking. Dealer was upfront about some moisture readings that would be found (he did not inidicate they were serious and stated my 06 Rinker would be likely to have the same.) I would certainly have a survey done, hours on engines - 1100 and compression is good all the way round. Can anyone tell me what the contrustion methods for this boat were? My intent is to have it as an entry level fishing boat for Lake Erie. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Dealer is asking $49.9k.
