Drove an hour to take a look at a 16.5' Sea Nymph today. It's almost identical to my Starcraft SS.
Problem is that the boat has 4 holes(about 2" in diameter) drilled into the hull on the starboard side...2 of which are below the waterline.. The original owner(not the seller) built some oddball live well system...that allows water to go through the hull into a live well ....and then back out of the boat.
There is also a 2" hole cut to the right of the bilge drain hole on the back of the boat...God only knows what the hell it's for. That hole is also below the waterline.
On the positive side, it has a bunk trailer (that I'd like to steal for my SS)...a spare prop that fits my 75hp. The foam is dry and the floor/carpet is new.
I had planned on buying it.....and flipping it, but I didn't expect to find the holes. The seller thought that they were normal for a boat with a live well. He apologized about the holes...said he thought that they were normal. He lowered the price to $200....but I needed a day to mull it over.
Here's what it looks like
