should i worry about the fact that it "runs hot" sometimes.....does that mean possible bigger issues. like warping, or scoring on the cylinder walls.....Will the fiberglass hull start to break down being 25 years old?

Walk ..........no RUN away! Obsolete drive and will probably require whole power set-up. Not a great year for the glass construction either.

Everything except the windshield is shot, including the trailer.
Stringers, engine mounts, transom all rotted.
Engine sounds shot too.
