Should I keep my "twin" Johnson 70s

Currently have two Johnson 70s on my boat... one is a '74, the other, an '81.

Here is my dilemma:

I like the engines, but they are both standard rotation, so steering isn't what it should be.
I mostly run this boat in the Ohio River, and we often get into the shallow areas along banks, but I don't have power trim/tilt, so the props have hit the bottom a number of times. That makes me nervous to do the things that I bought the boat to do in the first place.
The props came to me in fairly rough shape, so they really need to be replaced before this season starts. (which it already has for some of my fishing buddies)

First question would be, Did they make these engines in a counter rotating configuration?

If not, it seems like I would be best to sell these nice running outboards and get something better suited to what I do.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Phillip

No counter rotation available.-----------------Getting counter rotation in smaller motors is a big $$$ solution.----------Get power trim for the 81 model and tilt the other up manually in shallow water.
