Should I lube the teeth on my starter bendix?

Just had a new starter system put on my 1985 25hp Merc. It works just fine. Question is...should I place a small amount of grease to lube the starter bendix and flywheel gear teeth? Or run it dry? Thanks in advance.

Leave the teeth dry but put a couple drops of oil on the shaft.
