What should I do? I'm not sure if I need to replace the lower drive, how hard would it be to just swap out the internal parts into another case/shell? The prop is bent a little and I'll send it off to be fixed but I dont know what to so bout the fins that were on the lower drive. could I just build a new fin and bolt it to the lower? I don't want to go broke fixing this thing but new lowers are at least $1300 and the drive seemed to work fine after it happened I only drove about a half mile to the dock but I didnt notice anything wrong.

You will need an assortment of tools to R and R the housing I had a relative the hit a dead head where the prop spun a log into the cavitation plate and broke out a good chunk of it He had it welded by the same company that rebuilt the prop and did a great job . These prop shops are familiar with re welding gear cases

+1 If it is just the cavitation plate that is broken, just take it to a prop shop or good welding shop (same place you send your prop) and have it repaired. If the hosing itself is not cracked, there should be no need to replace it. You should be able to just unbolt the gearhousing and drop it off.

Not true. SEI lower units are $845, right here on iboats. But yours can be repaired. As I mention in your other thread on this damage.
