Should I sell my outboard to upgrade?

I am running a 2006 Yamaha 15 HP 4-stroke on my Crestliner 14' Sportsman. I am contemplating selling it and getting a Evinrude Etec 25 or 30hp. Max Rating for the boat is 35hp.

The Yami outboard is solid, excellent condition. Is it worth spending 2k for more HP? I don't fish tournaments, I fish for pure pleasure and the love of the sport.

I guess that all depends on you and what you want it to do, and if you have the money to do it.

Yep the extra HP may give you more pleasure and enjoyment.Only you can put a price on that.Perhaps upgrade to another Yamaha.lol.
