so i've been searching all around my area (southeastern OH). no one anywhere close carries marine ply and those that said they would order it either won't have it in for 4 - 6 weeks, or want an excessive amount of money for it. 100+ $$ per sheet is just out of my budget. so i decided to settle for 3/4 " a/c exterior ply. so i go to pick it up and everyone within a 50 mile raidus is out, closest i can get is 1/2" A/C ext ply (actually probably gonna use this for the deck) or 3/4 " B/C ext ply.

i need to build a new transom,do all my stringers, and do my deck.

I'm leaning towards using the 3/4" B/C ext ply for the transom, the 1/2" A/C for the deck, and then either 2x12s for the stringer or the B/C ext ply for the stringers.

does the quality of the A/C ply warrant me to really travel to get the 3/4" or will the B/C be sufficient? i want the job done right so i can dish out the extra $$ and time to get it, but it does stretch my budget a little thinner than i would like. same deal with the stringers. the 2x12s seem to be the cheapest route. Anyone have any alternative ideas or does this sound like a pretty solid plan?
