If I could score this fo 5 or 6 hundred Should I go for the resto? I just finished my Aluminum and she runs great........This comes with the motor needs work but I'm up for it.....

I'd say yes, I love those old finned boats and that one in particular has some nice lines to it.

Project boats are fun. Project boats can bring a sense of fullfillment.

Old fiberglass project boats are never a good investment, for investments sake.

I wouldn't pay much more than $100-200 for a boat like the one pictured. I would guess it needs the floor, stringers and transom replaced.

The windshield appears to have been modified or replaced at some point.

What brand is the boat? Only the really legendary names in fiberglass boats have any sort of following that would give it any intrinsic value.

If you are looking for project just for a fun time, that may be a good candidate. It will likely never be worth more than is invested in it, and likely you wouldn't be able to sell it for what you would invest in it.

Yeah just a fun time project no rush no time table ......My recent one was completed in 3 Months but wanted that one for the spring.....Not sure of the make yet just liked the old caddy look..........

In a word...absolutely. Could you imagine that thing finished in a bright white and lipstick red with a matching same year model Evinrude motor? That would be killer...

Heck yeah... that boat has some cool lines to it..... I like the windshield, even if it is not the original....in the pic from the front...the boat looks like it is smiling ...lol
