Hello People,
I'm a "do it yourselfer" here and I need to Check to see if my Exuast Shutters are ok. Usually, on a I/O Vovlo SternDrive where can the shutter/s be found? Once found, is there anything special that I should look for to check servicability?

Thank you for your time,

Chris

Re: Shutter Location

Someone will need the year, engine size, and type of drive to be able to help you.

Re: Shutter Location

Volvo has NEVER used year as a way of detemining what model of engine and drive you have, and who knows what Bayliner used in a 79 Victoria.
So without knowing what drive or engine model you actually have, some had flaps over the exhaust ports on the drive istself. others had the flappers installed in the exhaust bellows.
