One of the best & confortable sib driving position is sitting on top floor, as all sibs generally have wooden or aluminum floors panels, this dual floor concept has been designed by our local shop and manufactured to our specs by our Asian sib provider. You can inflate air mat to desire pressure to act as a excellent water shock absorber specially when sibbing in choppy waters. Very nice for sibbing long hours and afternoon napping if in the mood to do so. This is the 380 alum floor version. Has back space to secure anchor box & cooler against transom & air mat border. As we tie gas tank on bow, there's plenty of space available inside sitting area.

Re: Sib Dual Floor Concept

Sounds like a descent idea if you must or like to have the seats on the floor. I prefer the passenger weight to be carried entirely by the tubes which of course are ultimate shock absorbers.

Is not that we want to invalidate the use of the tubes for sitting, but if you sib for hours and long distances in all kinds of water conditions sitting on a very flexible surface is a nice alternative, excellent inboard position when sibbing with kids and scared ladies :D

Your back's 3 lettered word will be most pleased with a more confortable ride. After sitting on a flexible air mat pumped to your confortable likeness, you won't like sitting long hours on tubes as these are much harder 3.0 psi compared with just 0.5 psi of air mat.

Downside of sibbing inboard is that you must be relative tall to see what's going on at bow front when on plane. Is exactly the same to distribute passengers weight on tubes or inside sib, both works the same.
