Hey bud sorry I missed this (bet your back home by now)
Petrocan has marked fuel at the pumps, your going to need park passes if your camping in the narrows area.
Mara lake is nice watch the south end as it shallow were the river comes in (lots of mud)
Couple of good restraunts in the channel at Sicamous, (watch the wake speed)
Annesty and Seymour arms are good to see, head west to Sorrento, blind bay, Scotch creek, lots of marinas to fuel up at.
And here in Salmon Arm, big warf, come check out the town.

Watch out for the crazies

Hope you had fun.

Re: Sicamous/Shushwap..?

The rented houseboats had park passes on them, so it was all good. Ate at a couple restaurants in Sicamous Channel, as I needed to go back there to buy a prop, an oil pressure switch(Purchased from 'The Marina'), then a circulating water pump (from the NAPA there).

Didn't make it to any other suggested destinations...:( Went to Cooper (copper?) island and jumped off some cliffs like an idjit, and burnt up a bunch of fuel cruising around in the perfect weather, and tied up to the beached houseboat at night....
