I am reupholstering the side panels on my boat and need to replace some of the clips that hold the panels to the fiberglass side of the boat.

This is what the clip looks like:

Does anyone know of any sources?

Check out an automotive store, or Lowes/Home Depot has them in the fastener isle, look for automotive trim parts.

You will find those at AutoZone..im sure the other big stores will have them as well, but I know AZ has them. And really cheap at that..well, REAL cheap in boating terms!

Been to many auto parts stores. They use the ones with flat ends that attatch to thin fiberboard.

Re: Side Panel Clips

Ahh..sorry. We have them here at the AZ in Jacksonville. But we also have marine boat paint at our Lowes also.

After some research you want whats known as "Double End Christmas Tree clips", assuming one side is longer than the other..pic looks so. If both sides are even you want " Double ended nylon ribbed clips". I am finding them online but not in small quantities like you need. Maybe Fastenall or somewhere? I will look some more.

:::I found this site, I bet if you called them they WILL have what you need and sell in smaller numbers..like under 50..which I bet you want http://autobodyclips.com/index.php ::::

:::also here..100 would run you $25 or 0.50 each under 99 in quantity http://www.beaconfabric.com/vindex.html?cat79.htm they are on the bottom of the page, 3rd item up :::
