Side Rail Scratch

I don't know how it happened, but when cleaning up the new boat I noticed a scratch in the side rail on my Sea Ray. It already shows some corrosion in the scratch. I don't know if the side rail is steel or aluminum, but it looks to be chrome plated?<br /><br />Any ideas how to fix.
