Sierra Marine Head Gaskets

Just curious about something. Just got my top end kit in and the actual brand is Dometic? Is Dometec and Sierra one in the same? And the head gasket will stick to a magnet. I know not all stainless is non-magnetic but i just want to make sure this sounds ok. Otherwise i pullled these heads and paid $150 for a top end gasket kit for nothing.

Ayuh,.... Sierra is a marketer, Dometec is the manufacturer,.....

Generally speakin', I just buy Fel-pro gaskets, have have used Dometec before, without issues,.....

I used Fel/Pro when I replaced the heads on my 4.3, they sell a marine gasket kit for the pre-Vortec 4.3s, I’m not sure what they sell for the V8s…had good luck with theirs…

Ok sounds good. Part numbers match up on my end. I feel confident they are marine grade just wanted to make sure.
