I'm not much of a winter weather fan anyway, but when I glance outside and see my boat setting there, I really want summertime to be here!

+4 on that. I have been very busy finding a new truck and accessory's for it, and stacking up stuff to change out on the boat over the winter. The work list if getting longer.

A man has got to watch what he says around you, Grub....:facepalm:

To make a long story short......I registered my boat in my girlfriends name for convienence and to give her some responsibility of being an owner. She became my ex. Out of spite she kept it when we broke up. I got her back a couple weeks ago and have been out on her everyday except one since then. We are juicing her up today for two days of relaxing and fishing. Trout and Redfish are on the bite.

Was just kiddin' ya Sas, I remembered from another post that you have cooked sting rays before... and you're down there in the warm, and it's raining, damp, and chilly here.

Glad to hear you got your boat back, now go out and give those fish what for!... those speckled trout are mighty fine, take a picture of one for me!

I can wait. That means the days start getting shorter. By that time, most of the country had summer for a few months. Not us, it's just getting started. Hence, our short summers.

I'm waiting to get enough snow to go snowmobiling. Christmas and we can't break out the sleds yet! The week between Christmas and New Years is huge for the local businesses. Not this year, at least not here..........

Snowing tonight and tomorrow, Wed, and Thurs .... Might get some decent accumulation .... Flintlock season starts Wed and goose and duck are in ... If it is snowing like they are calling for it will be a good day to put the boat in .... Deer will be sitting in the hollows close to the water and ducks and geese will be holding tight! Yeah baby! I love boating in the winter, and a semi-heated garage to store her in ... What is winterizing, again?

Don't mind the winter, its a great time to upgrade and work on the boat and not feel bad about loosing time on the water while working on her. Then when the spring does get here you have a bunch of new things on the boat to enjoy. Plus I love the snow, hope we get some this season. Merry Christmas everyone.

We went fishing, Grub. No luck, at least not for me. We went to a fav hole a few miles away. Bait everywhere and the conditions were just right. There was a fella anchored out nearby with two teens onboard. He was dead in the water. The teens were on their phones texting. We decided to tow them home instead of fishing.

A good deed feels better than catching some fish anyway.
