Hi
I have a 1998 Alpha one gen 2, The outdrive was recently servced by an engineer and pressure tested. All of the inline pipe and inboard reservoir was completely emptied and refilled with fresh oil.
The first few short trips there was no oil loss but on the most recent trips when she has been worked much harder, there has been an oil loss of about a 1cm in the bottle each time.
Is this just any air being purged from the system and the level is settling down or should i worry.
The problem is that the boat is on a swinging mooring and isn't easy to drop the oil to check for water contamination.
Any thoughts / views is appreciated.

Yes, there is usally a bubble that comes out during a good hard run that will drop the oil level.
Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't keep dropping.
