silencer cover

i have been runnin my 175 crossflow ,without silencer cover, for a couple of runs redoing it stickers and clean up ,it doesnt matter on the crossflow does it just the loopers ? it runnin ttad rich if ya look at plugs .stumbles when i push primer in
i should be good till i finish it ?1983 175 crossflow 149 cid
