anyone familiar with bypassing the rotational and oil resevoir devices after removing oil pump on a Merc 200 EFI? may be as simple as placing a jumper on the right terminal points or lifting a wire. I'm guessing these are normally closed held open contacts. Diagram looks like blu/wht& wht wires. Afraid of damaging electronics if I don't know what to do. thanks

You will also need to disconnect the sender wire from the #2 coil lead at the outer switchbox. Make sure you disconnect the reference wire that goes to the module and not the coil wire. That should do you.

captweed, can I ask why you went to premix?<br />I've got a '99 EFI 175 that has recently developed an oil leak, and after reading several threads here it seems lots of folks are abandoning oil injection... thanks!

No need to abandon oil injection and loose the convenience, low smoke, and higher resale value. Marine Solutions has an electronic oil injection system that installs in about an hour with no disassembly of the engine. You can call them at 262-524-0804 for information.
