silencing pad old orange spongy stuff

Was wondering it anyone knows of a replacement for the silencing pad on the inside of the older cowlings. You know the old orange spongy stuff that falls all over your motor. The search button was messed up or I am sure I could of found some good ideas..

Get a couple of single edged razor blades and cut that stuff away. It is useless.
