Hello,
Before launching the boat this year, I took the props off my Bravo III, cleaned them and gave them a good shiny polish.
A few days later while cleaning the barnacles away, I noticed that they were covered by a layer of what appears to be salt.
It is easily removable with acid but hard to remove by scrabbing.
Then I noticed that most of the boats with SS polished props did not have that layer of salt on them.
Anodes and Mercathode are working as they should. No sign of corrosion on the drive.
Any clues?
